Open Hopper / High-Viscosity Fluids

General Description

The FFAJ Line is the definitive solution for the hygienic pumping of media that do not flow freely by gravity. Its design integrates an open rectangular throat (hopper) and a feed auger (helical screw) mounted on the coupling rod.

This sanitary-design auger forces the constant, steady feed of product into the rotor and stator cavities, ensuring smooth, repeatable flow without shear damage. Built entirely in polished AISI 316 stainless steel, it allows for quick disassembly for inspection and is fully compatible with Clean-in-Place (CIP) processes.

The FFAJ series is ideal for transferring products with difficult flow characteristics, such as:

  • Wine Industry: Grape must, pomace, and lees.
  • Bakery and Confectionery: Thick doughs, viscous fillings, and creams.
  • Processed Foods: Fruit pulp, concentrated sauces, chocolate, and honey.
  • Personal Care: Toothpaste, gels, ointments, and thick lotions.

We understand that every process is unique. We manufacture sanitary hoppers with custom dimensions to match your existing discharge silos, crushers, or dosing systems. The unit can be supplied on a fixed stainless steel base frame or on mobile carts with sanitary casters.

Why choose the FFAJ Line?
No-Cavitation Flow: The feed auger eliminates air pockets in highly viscous fluids.
Quick Clean: Design focused on fast manual disassembly to streamline daily cleaning routines.
Gentle Handling: Pumps fluids with whole particles (such as seeds or fruit chunks) without damaging them.
